Public-Key Cryptography Standard
PKCS sind eine Reihe von Spezifikationen, die von der Firma RSA Data Security herausgegeben werden. Diese Papiere beschäftigen sich mit Themen der Anwendung von asymmetrischen Verschlüsselungsverfahren wie RSA. Solche Anwendungen sind z.B. die Erzeugung und Verwendung von digitalen Signaturen und den zugehörigen Zertifikaten.
